Welcome to Rooted: Women, Earth & Eco-Justice

“Welcome to Rooted, Women, Earth & Eco-Justice. This podcast is hosted by me, Diamondnia Mack, the founder and executive director of The Brown Moon Project. And this is A Brown Moon Production.

I have had the privilege of sitting in conversation with brilliant Black, Brown and Indigenous women whose expertise cover everything from environmental economics and law to eco-art and creativity. I am so excited for us to journey through their stories starting way back at their roots, their childhood, their communities and how that all shaped them to become who they are today and to do the work that they do. In each episode, we will discuss the impact of really pivotal shifts happening in the climate space from the impact of presidential elections to what happens when key environmental policies are repealed or removed and how that affects Black, Brown and Indigenous women, their communities and their lives.

I am so excited for you all to meet these incredible women and to learn more about the work that they do. It is my hope that after each episode, you walk away feeling reinvigorated, inspired and rooted. You can listen to Rooted, Women, Earth & Eco-Justice on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

And you can also get the full profile and bios of our “guests at www.brownmoonproject.org/expertcontributors.

Thank you so much for journeying with us and enjoy the podcast.
